They simply enter their name and email to generate a personal referral link, unlocking points or rewards when their referral leads to a successful purchase. They’ll need to return and sign up to an account to access those rewards, helping you motivate more members and drive acquisition simultaneously.
Access a complete record of exactly what’s changed within your loyalty program, and who changed it. If you’re using Recharge and LoyaltyLion together, your subscribers can now add vouchers directly to their subscription from your loyalty page. No more copy and pasting codes to their subscription portal, making it quicker and easier for them to redeem their subscription rewards
You can now give customers a voucher instead of just points when someone they refer places their first order, opening up more ways to incentivize your referral program.
Voucher codes are allocated once the referee’s order clears the approval period, so you’re only ever rewarding verified referrals.

The integrated loyalty page now meets a higher accessibility standard for shoppers using screen readers and keyboards.
What’s improved:
Historically, customers have been automatically enrolled when they sign in or create an account. Now you can switch to manual opt-in, so customers choose whether to join rather than being added by default.
When enabled, a “Join program” button appears on your integrated loyalty page, customer accounts page, and post-purchase Thank You page. Once a customer joins, everything works as normal including points, rewards, and welcome flows all trigger in the same way.
You could already host your loyalty page on your own brand domain. Now you can host referral links, receipt upload pages, and your loyalty pass install page on your brand domain too. This means every touchpoint will feel like a natural part of your store.
You can now navigate LoyaltyLion in dark mode. Easier on the eyes in low light, and for anyone who prefers working in a darker interface.
If you use Shopify Markets, you can now choose which countries each reward is available in. Run region-specific promotions, restrict free shipping to domestic customers, or limit free product rewards to the markets where items are actually stocked, all without workarounds.

New partial refunds mean when a customer returns part of an order, they get a proportional share of their points back based on what they returned. Point refunds are calculated using Shopify’s per-line-item discount allocations.
