The store assistant locates the customer’s account using their email and can see if there are any rewards available for redemption.

Do customers’ loyalty points sync online and in-store?

Yes, customers’ loyalty accounts are updated in real-time, whether they earn or redeem points online or in-store.

How do customers access their loyalty program online when they sign up in-store?

New in-store loyalty members
When a customer joins your loyalty program in-store while making a purchase, create a Shopify account for them in Shopify POS using their email. This enrols them in your LoyaltyLion loyalty program.

To redeem points online that were earned in-store, your customer must also sign up for your loyalty program on your online store using the same email.

Existing online loyalty members
If your in-store customer is already a loyalty member online, simply enter their email address in Shopify POS to ensure points are collected for in-store purchases.
