Content Marketer

As our Content Marketer, you'll be responsible for defining the content strategy for LoyaltyLion and then managing the creation and development of content. With a focus on strategic opportunities to increase our reach, you'll have an eye for spotting relevant content opportunities across SEO, outreach, partnerships and wider channels.

In this role, you will be responsible for content creation across multiple channels - our website, blog, email, social media and conferences. You'll need exceptional writing skills to craft engaging content across these channels. You'll lead the way to make LoyaltyLion a thought leader in the ecommerce loyalty industry.

Experience writing within the world of ecommerce is essential. You don't need to be a domain expert, but you do need to understand ecommerce terminology and metrics, in order to explain and demonstrate our benefit.

Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • Develop and then execute the ongoing content strategy for LoyaltyLion
  • Writing quality content for our website and blog
  • Manage our email marketing, e.g. feature announcements
  • Using our results and findings to demonstrate the effectiveness of our product
  • Follow and improve LoyaltyLion's tone of voice, and ensure it's used in all our external communications
  • Build relationships with our partners and clients and source opportunities for guest posts
  • Identify SEO opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for PR and outreach
  • Stay on top of news and trends in the fields of ecommerce and loyalty, and use this to enhance your content

What we’re looking for:

  • An excellent and proven writer who can create engaging content
  • Experience creating content for a B2B audience, with the ability to write successfully for the web to drive traffic and build engagement
  • An understanding of ecommerce and consumer behaviour.
  • An editorial focus to understand what our audience wants to consume
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • (bonus) Experience in the field of customer loyalty would be a big plus

Head of Partnerships

Partnerships are a key part of our business. We already have relationships with some of the best ecommerce agencies and ecommerce solution providers in the world. Your role will be to maintain these relationships, find new opportunities and to generate leads for the sales team. 

Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • Working closely with our existing partners to generate leads for both parties 
  • Identifying and starting new strategic partnerships 
  • Building brand eminence - among others activities this will involve finding sponsorship opportunities, hosting our own loyalty networking events and speaking at ecommerce conferences 
  • Representing LoyaltyLion at networking events 
  • Negotiating partnership terms 

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven ability building partnerships or someone with consultative sales experience 
  • Domain experience - either in marketing, ecommerce or SaaS

Software Developer (Ruby, JS)

We’re looking for a capable and experienced generalist to work on interesting problems and shape the future of LoyaltyLion. You'll be working across our entire platform, from our merchant-facing web apps to our third party widgets used by millions of shoppers around the world.

Our primary languages are Ruby and Node.js, with a mix of Backbone, React & Redux on the front-end. We use chatops and Docker for deployments.

Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • Writing really clean, well-tested code 
  • Developing our JS/Ruby codebases and integrating with ecommerce platforms and partners
  • Scaling our apps to work with the largest ecommerce stores 
  • Turning lots of data into useful insights for our merchants 
  • Dreaming up and implementing awesome new features

What we’re looking for:

  • A proven track record in software development
  • Ruby and/or JS expertise
  • Good TDD and OOD skills
  • Comfortable working across the entire technology stack
  • Experience with databases, especially PostgreSQL

Junior Developer

We're looking for an enthusiastic junior developer to help us at LoyaltyLion with all things technical.

Prior industry experience is not required. This would be an ideal way to get started in the software development world following a technical degree or intensive training course if you like to throw yourself in the deep end.

  • Writing really clean, well-tested code
  • Pair programming and code reviews
  • Developing our Node.js API and Ruby on Rails merchant portal
  • Integrating with various ecommerce platforms

What we’re looking for:

  • A technical background, e.g. a technical degree, intensive training course, etc
  • Prior experience with at least Ruby or JavaScript
  • Ability to learn really, really fast and not get overwhelmed

Head of Sales

You should apply to this role if you want to be head of sales within 4 months.

To start you’ll learn the LoyaltyLion sales process and then you’ll provide your recommendations. Going forwards you’ll be responsible for managing, training and expanding the sales team (which is currently four people). You’ll be accountable for personal and team sales target. You’ll report directly to the CEO and communicate sales progress to the company.

Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • Managing and training existing sales members
  • Providing recommendations on our sales process
  • Expanding the sales team
  • Closing enterprise deals (contract values: £12k-50k / year )
  • Building and maintaining your pipeline

What we’re looking for:
