LoyaltyLion is a data-driven loyalty and engagement platform trusted by thousands of ecommerce brands worldwide. Merchants use LoyaltyLion when they want a loyalty program that is proven to increase customer engagement, retention and spend. Stores using LoyaltyLion typically generate at least $15 for every $1 they spend on the platform.

Today LoyaltyLion works with over 10,000 small and medium sized retailers. Our mission is to help them succeed in the age of Amazon, where they may not be able to compete on price and logistics but can offer a better customer experience. An experience where customers feel valued, rather than just another number.

It’s been an incredible two years for LoyaltyLion. We closed $12.5m early last year and another $12m this year, and we’ve grown from 40 employees to over 100. We’ve built out our Leadership team, recruiting a CTO, CFO and Director of Product amongst other senior hires and we continue to scale quickly, achieving spots in both the Deloitte Fast 50 and the FT1000. This is just the beginning of our inflection point.

Role information

The People Department
We are currently a team of 5, doubling in size in the next three months. We’re hiring the best people to join us in our mission of making relationships the foundation of commerce.  Our People team is focused on enabling our business to scale, supporting our managers to lead effectively and helping our people to create impactful careers at LoyaltyLion. As our People team grows, there is a huge opportunity to build the foundations of our Culture and people’s experiences from the ground up.

We’re looking for a Senior People Partner who will lead on all things People partnering and employee experiences. You will work with the VP People to build a thriving culture for our people and drive a high performance culture which accelerates our ability to achieve our ambitious goals for the company.

Some of the things you'll be doing:

• Leading on end-to-end people processes, setting up/improving key processes and practices which create highly engaging and motivating employee experiences for all our people
• Develop consistent, transparent and fair experiences for all our people by partnering with functional leaders to understand people challenges and build experiences which are aligned with our culture and values and therefore drive values-based behaviours
• Take a lead on all things people operations and business partnering – including developing guidelines, frameworks and people activities and supporting the ways of working as part of the Future of Work initiatives
• Be a trusted advisor to our Management team on all People and Culture related needs, taking a data-driven approach and creating deep and positive relationships which accelerate performance and growth
• Coach our managers through people matters and equipping them with the skills and knowledge to confidently lead their teams to drive higher performance and engagement
• Be a custodian of our values and exemplifying them in all your relationships and communications
• Work with the VP People and our People Specialist to develop a dynamic performance review framework which provides clarity, consistency and fairness in driving higher performance through transparent metrics around performance and potential
• Work with the VP People to build a Talent management framework to identify, develop and retain talent
• Support the VP People to develop a comprehensive Compensation framework appropriate for a business at our stage of growth, and aligning it within all our people processes to enable efficiencies in scaling and growing our business
• Support the development of a dynamic and transparent career progression framework across all functions which embeds a growth mindset, and enables employees to proactively own their career journey
• Lead on developing our DEI strategy, with the support of our VP People, and deliver initiatives which enable us to create an industry leading culture putting DEI at the centre of who we are and what we stand for
• Support other ad hoc people and talent projects as we grow and build a high growth / high performance organisation

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working in a high growth, scaling business with a diverse mix of employees and cultures
• Proven experience handling challenging people matters throughout the entire employee lifecycle
• Proven experience designing and developing people processes, policies, frameworks and experiences
• Passion for results, able to deliver high quality end-to-end people and learning projects
• Comfortable with Google Suite, Lever, Hibob and other people systems
• A positive and proactive team player who acts with a sense of urgency and adapts a fast-paced and changing environment
• High level of EQ proven through the relationships created across the employee-base, taking a solution focused approach to solving problems
