Role information

Here at LoyaltyLion we’re shaking up the way ecommerce retailers do business with our loyalty platform. We’ve grown from a company of 8 awesome people to 50 awesome people in the last three years and from 300 retailers using our platform to over 6000 today!

We have big plans for the next three years and we are scaling our commercial teams significantly, paving the way for a leader for our Account Executive team who can get to grips with our sales strategy for the team, and enable them to push more deals over the line than ever before.

You will be building out a team, and managing some fantastic team members that we already have. Strategically, you will own the alignment of the account executive team to our company goals, and roadmap. This means that you will work really closely with our Head Of Sales and the Outbound Sales Team Lead

Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • Working with our Head Of People to hire the best people into your team, and giving them opportunities to grow through coaching and development
  • Motivating your team to hit, and exceed targets through smart incentives
  • You will be a big part of developing and refining our sales strategy
  • You will be an agent of continuous improvement, through KPI and goal setting, and identifying trends, bottlenecks and areas of optimisation
  • Working with all revenue teams to ensure an effective lead handover process
  • You will have complete ownership of a subset of KPI’s
  • You will be responsible for collecting and tracking buyer feedback and relaying back to the strategy and product teams

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, you’ve hired into a sales team and have been directly responsible for, or a significant part of growing a sales team or channel
  • You’re someone who can troubleshoot when it comes to bottlenecks, low performance and blockers
  • You are able to workshop, lead training sessions and coach effectively – you know that these are important activities and high value for your team
  • You are able to engage with, incentivise, and motivate a team on a 1:1 and 1 to many basis
  • You have full sales cycle knowledge with opinions on sales methodologies, and sales techniques

£60,000 – £70,000 per annum base + commission (£100,000+ OTE) + benefits
