Our recent ecommerce webinar was a great success with several attendees from across the globe listening in to learn all about growing a loyal customer base in online retail. LoyaltyLion were joined by Ometria and Feefo who both shared their insights on lifecycle marketing and building customer trust respectively.
Ometria’s Chief Customer Officer, James Dunford Wood led proceedings by discussing how merchants can create loyalty and boost retention using customer lifecycle marketing. He shared his thoughts on differentiating leads from customers, nurturing VIP customers and why a simple reward or thank you can often be more effective than numerous discounts.
LoyaltyLion’s CEO Charlie Casey followed to discuss three strategies to drive post purchase customer loyalty. He spoke in detail about how retention, engagement and acquisition are important metrics in measuring customer loyalty and illustrated this with case studies from clients who have seen great results after implementing a loyalty program.
The final speaker was Feefo’s Head of Partnerships, Robin Lewis who offered advice on how merchants can encourage loyalty through trust. He spoke about how reviews can help customers along the buying journey and how user generated content can boost engagement.
Attendees were then invited to submit questions to the speakers about their ecommerce and customer loyalty challenges before the webinar drew to a close. All in all, the webinar proved useful for merchants and marketers looking for practical ways to grow and nurture a loyal customer base online.
